About Patient records ("Pasientjournal")

Here you can get digital access to your patient journal documents. In the future, this service will be offered to everyone, but for the time being it will only show journals at hospitals in the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority and Western Norway Regional Health Authority healthcare regions, as well as some hospitals in the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority.

The journal documents are retrieved from the hospital's systems and are not stored anywhere else. However, you can choose to save a copy here at Helsenorge. If you do, you will find it in the Documents ("Dokumenter") service.

In the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority and Western Norway Regional Health Authority healthcare regions, you will also be able to see which hospital staff has looked up information in your patient records, through the access log ("tilgangsloggen"). This is also the case for some hospitals in the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority region.
