COVID-19 certificate

If you have a national ID number or D-number, you can access your digital COVID-19 certificate by logging in to helsenorge.no. You can use BankID, BankID on mobile, Buypass ID on smart card, Buypass ID on mobile or Commfides e-ID.

If you do not have a national ID number or D-number, there are other solutions to get the COVID-19 certificate.

How does the COVID-19 certificate work?

  • The COVID-19 certificate contains QR codes with information about whether you

    • have been vaccinated
    • have recently had a negative test result
    • are immune after having had COVID-19 disease

  • The COVID-19 certificate has two control pages

    • one for use within Norway
    • one for use abroad and at border crossings

    When you log in to the certificate and click on “View control page”, you can either click on "Control in Norway" or "Border crossing EU/EEA".

More about this service

  • This service requires consent for Basic access or higher.

    If you wish to check the level of consent you have given or change your consent, you can do this under Privacy settings.

  • In order to use this service on behalf of others for whom you do not have parental responsibility, they must grant you power of attorney for the service area number 1: Access to information registered about you.

  • You can use this service on behalf of a child under 16 you have custody of, but only if at least one parent is registered in the National Population Register at the same address as the child:

    • If one or more of the parents are registered at the same address as the child, both parents will be able to represent the child.
    • If neither parent is registered at the same address as the child, neither of them will be able to represent the child.

  • Unlisted address is often referred to as «confidential address» or «blocked address».

    This service is available to people with an unlisted address.

    If this service contains information from another service that is not accessible to you because of the confidential address, you will also not be able to see this information here.

    If you live at a confidential address, you will not be able to represent others at Helsenorge, nor will others be able to act on your behalf.
